The Yakult Scientific Award recognizes the achievements of outstanding scientists who conducted basic or applied research projects on probiotics in the vision of Yakult. The Scientific Committee of the YIS will evaluate the submitted abstracts based on their merit (scientific content, innovation, contribution by the young scientists – not more than 3 years after defending PhD).

The Scientific Award of the YIS will be conferred to the author of the best oral/poster presentation.

Authors of the posters are encouraged to be at the booth during the time dedicated to the poster presentation to expose and discuss their study.

The winner of the Scientific Award of YIS is encouraged to attend the Award Ceremony on the last day of the Symposium.
